Congratulations, you signed up for The Stafford Challenge. Starting on January 17, you and a community of fellow poets (or soon to be poets) will begin the journey of writing a poem a day, for a year - in the spirit of renowned poet, William Stafford.

Pay-what-you-want... here is why.
While there is absolutely no required cost to participate in this challenge, The Stafford Challenge is a deeply personal endeavor envisioned, created, and led by me - poet and storyteller Brian Rohr. Every hour spent building the website, managing our mailing list, maintaining Zoom for webinars, reaching out to Guest Poets, and keeping everything running smoothly comes from my own time and resources.
I endeavor to make sure that anyone who wants to join can do so. With that said, If you’re able, I warmly invite you to make a pay-what-you-want contribution. I suggest a range of $60 to $180 for the year, which works out to just $5 to $15 per month, but any amount you can give is deeply appreciated. Larger contributions are especially meaningful and help ensure that this project can continue to grow and thrive. Your support truly makes a difference.
Please note that The Stafford Challenge is not a 501c3 organization, so contributions are not tax-deductible. Even so, your generosity goes far beyond a tax benefit—it directly sustains this community of daily poets and writers. Thank you for being part of this journey.
